Oh--I also meant to say: you should read Dan Pink's A Whole New Mind. It's more reader-friendly, smaller, and encompasses the summary idea of Friedman's Flattening World. It's also very practical, giving ideas for personal growth. Pink's concept is that this new flattening world will require both critical and creative thinkers. I have a copy if you'd like to borrow it.
