Oops--I see you already figured it out!

Are you using goodreads with your students?

You can add a goodreads widget in the TEXT BOX on your homepage. Copy the widget code from goodreads:
  • From the My Books screen, select widgets in the tiny print above the search box.
  • Next, customize the widget and then copy the HTML code.
  • On your ning page, click EDIT in the TEXT BOX header.
  • Paste the goodreads HTML code and click save.
  • You can rearrange the items on your page by dragging them by the header. Some items are fixed, not allowing you to move them.

    I hope this helps.

I'm searching for an answer. I know you copy the widget code from the goodreads site. I'm not sure where to put here in ning. I'll try to find an answer for you by next week.

I have spent most of my time reading the blogs of other English teachers. I've learned that, technologically speaking, I am way behind! I want to incorporate 21st century literacy into my teaching, but I'm not sure where to begin. No one at my school is doing this! I've created a web-site at Teacherweb.com where I plan to post lesson plans, handouts, h… Continue
